How to plan for your farm experience

Make a Reservation

This helps us to keep costs down and to reduce waste. We also don’t want to run out of crusts!

Parking

Parking will be marked with flags and signs. Parking close to the barn is reserved for mobility limited people. The farm opens at 3:30PM.

After You Park

Make your way to the lower level of the barn. This is on the south side by the bathrooms. The bar is where you will purchase beverages (no BYOB) & pay for your pizzas and pick up your tokens.

Place Your Order

Once you’ve picked up your pizza tokens, head to the pizza station. Here you will order the kind of pizzas that you want and drop your token in the jar.

The menu for the week will be posted on our facebook page by the Wednesday before your reservation.

What to Bring

Sometimes guests like to bring other things: silverware, plates, & bug spray.

We have a few yard games, soccer balls, baseballs, and footballs.

You can also walk the trails (about 1.5 miles) around the property.

Seating

We do have some seating on the deck and a few picnic tables.

You are encouraged to bring your own chairs for seating.

The Animals

The animals that live here are part of an animal sanctuary. This is their safe space. The chickens and cats roam free. Please don’t chase them. Our other animals are behind fences. Keep a fence between you and them. You can grab treats to feed them in the bar.

Inclement Weather

If the weather looks yucky, we will post our plans on our Facebook Page. We don’t like to cancel but we also people to enjoy their evening at the farm.

Working Farm

When you are at the farm we want you to feel like you are coming home.

The farm was homesteaded in the mid 1880’s. We’ve done our best to remove old barbwire fence, pick up nails, and make the setting otherwise hazard free. However, there are a 130 years of things buried out here, be mindful of your surroundings.

Celebrations & Gatherings

We love providing the pizza, drinks and open space for small, casual gatherings as a part of our regularly scheduled pizza nights.

For details, please reach out to nancy@thegoodearth.us

Private Events

We love to host events for your private gathering on non-pizza nights.

We can make pizzas or you can bring in your own catering.
